TAB's annual newsroom seminar event, the Southwest Broadcast Newsroom Workshop, will take place Saturday, Oct. 19, from 8:45 am to 6 pm, at the Umphrey Lee Center on the SMU Campus in Dallas.

• $56/person (early rate); $66/person (regular rate starts on Oct. 8)

Badge Pickup: 7:30-8:30 AM (Main Entrance, Second Floor)

There are two options for parking and both are shown on the map at the link above. The parking garage option is considerably cheaper if you’re coming to the workshop for the full day. 

OPTION A: $11 per day

The Binkley Parking Center is located at 3105 Binkley Avenue (#69 on the map). Level 2 is the visitor parking level. You purchase a permit when you enter the garage and leave it on the dash.

OPTION B: $3 per hour

There are scattered park and pay spaces on campus on University Boulevard, McFarlin Boulevard and Binkley Avenue. These are marked by short blue lines on the map.
